JONES DJ ENTERTAINMENT, LLC

JONESY is a New York City based DJ and producer, boasting a fresh collection of music. His career began by teaming with DJ FLO to showcase their one-of-a-kind style of spinning to their hometown of Stamford, CT. As nephew of Bernard Edwards, one of the greatest bass guitarists in the industry, and co-founder of the famed disco band, Chic, Jonesy was introduced to soul classics at an early age.  Studying the Art and History of Turntablism allowed him to fine tune his scratching, mixing, and production skills.

As a Student at Boston College, Jonesy studied business and finance, while simultaneously introducing the city of Boston to his unique sound. Jonesy’s Boston venues include:  Harper’s Ferry, Wonder Bar and The Kells.

Upon graduating from Boston College in 2008, Jonesy joined Scratch DJ Academy, founded by Jam Master Jay of Run DMC, and spread his art form around New York, at exclusive events for clients such as Adidas, Lacoste, Seventeen Magazine, and Clinique.  New York City venues include: Webster Hall, Taj II, Hotel Chantelle, and Gallery Bar. Additionally, Jonesy has performed with the likes of: Britney Spears, Drake, Trey Songz, Cedric Gervais, Jason Derulo, Miguel, Gym Class Heroes, Sean Kingston, Talib Kweli, Tinie Tempah, Nina Sky, Cory Gunz, Cypress Hill, Mickey Avalon, and Sophia Fresh.

Beyond New York, Jonesy & FLO hosted the monthly party “HIGHER”, in the opulent mountain retreat of Aspen, Colorado. Jonesy has been featured as a Celebrity DJ on the Norwegian Cruise Line Epic Ship sailing from Miami to the Eastern and Western Caribbean Isles.  Jonesy has toured Europe, DJing at world-renowned venues such as the Kauflueten Club and Hive Club in Zurich Switzerland, and Otto Zutz in Barcelona Spain. He has also spun in Rio De Janeiro Brazil at venues such as Caza Da Matriz and Baronetti Night Club.
